ABOUT US:

Wee Paws Place is more than just an average boarding kennel.   At WPP your fur-baby is our fur-baby.  From the moment you drop your dog off until you pick up, we provide the everyday basic care for your dog.....except at WPP it is anything but basic!  We spend time with your dog as we  do our very own!  Your dog becomes a part of our family!  We play fetch, we play in the water, we exercise, and sometimes we just sit and give your dog some good ole' fashion belly rubs!  Its whatever your pooch wants to do!  We are guilty of sending dogs home a "wee" bit spoiled and exhausted from all the fun we have here at WPP!  

OUR KENNEL:

Wee Paws Place is completely enclosed with all dogs housed under the same roof, but in separate rooms of course!  Our facility is temperature controlled by our HVAC system and kept anywhere between 63 & 73 degrees depending on the season!  We have two huge play yards for the dogs with 9 foot tall fencing so that even the craftiest escape artists are contained.  Our place is completely secure with security cameras inside & out!  Each individual room inside is a spacious 5 foot by 5 foot area including an elevated bed and unlimited water supply for all dogs.  We give everyone plenty of outside time with supervision.  We do not mix dogs with unfamiliar dogs for everyone’s safety.   

FEEDINGS:

Every dog that stays here with us at Wee Paws Place has access to fresh water at all times!  We provide a sanitized dish for feedings, so that all you have to bring with your dog is enough kibble for the entire stay.  We ask that you either bag your dogs food in sealed bags or use a small plastic container with a lid.  WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCPET BIG BAGS OF DOG FOOD - so please only bring what your dog will need for his/her stay.  We also have a refrigerator for those who eat foods that need to be kept at fridge temps.   Wee Paws Place will not let any dog go hungry.  So in the event that your dog runs out of kibble, we will feed our brand (Wellness Brand) to your dog at an additional charge of $5.00 per meal.  ****please note, any dog eating unfamiliar dog food may have upset stomach.  We prefer not to feed our brand to your dog for this reason.  Please make sure to bring enough kibble for your dog.  

REQUIREMENTS:

Wee Paws Place does not board pregnant or in-season females.  For your dogs protection and others, up to date vaccine records including Rabies, DHPP, & Bordatella (kennel cough) are required for every dog visiting WPP.  Don't worry, WPP will call your vet and get the records a couple days prior to your check-in!   All dogs must be on flea & tick preventative to board with us at WPP.  Although our grounds are sprayed regularly, if your dog is not on preventative then they could pick up fleas and/or ticks anywhere you may take them.  Also please note:  Kennel Cough can be hiding anywhere, it doesn't just live at boarding kennels, so please vaccinate your pup for this no matter how often you may board them.  As with any vaccine, the kennel cough vaccine does NOT prevent your dog from contracting it but it does make the symptoms less severe should your pooch come in contact with the virus. 

PAYMENTS:

We do not charge deposits on reservations, however payment must be received at time of check-in.  Payment can be made by Cash, Venmo, or Cash App.  We DO NOT accept checks or debit/credit cards at this time.  Please note:  we charge per DAY, not per NIGHT.  This includes the day you drop off as well as the day you pick up!  Since we do not mix dogs, the room is reserved for your pooch for the entire day  regardless of the AM or PM window you use for drop off and pick up! 

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Located on just under 100 acres of land, we live on-site in a Log Home with the kennel at the beginning of our property, so your pooch is never left alone and unattended.  We can not be seen from Huntsmill Road, so just look for our tall flagpole at the end of the driveway flying the American Flag!  

While your fur-baby is with us here at WPP, you may receive text updates while you are away!  This is to give you the peace of mind that your special babies are having just as much fun as you are!  Feel free to text anytime to check in on your special furry friend!! We aim to give you an stress-free vacation!
